In Karachi, the CM reported that 800 police officers wore body cameras while on duty.

In a statement made public on Sunday, the CM commended the efforts of police officers for preserving security at the polling sites. He thought the poll workers, who were teachers and employees of other government organisations, had done a fantastic job.

The district administrations' management of the election preparations delighted the CM. He claimed that the Sindh government had taken every effort to ensure that the elections went off without a hitch, despite the complex security situation that was in place.

He expressed his gratitude to the whole provincial government for playing its proper part in ensuring the success of the LG elections in the Karachi and Hyderabad divisions. The CM visited the Central Police Office in Karachi in the meantime to keep an eye on the elections in Hyderabad and Karachi. Ghulam Nabi Memon, the head of the Sindh police, welcomed him. He went to the CPO's control room to view the electronic voting procedure being monitored there.

Shah was pleased with how peacefully the election was being conducted. In order to maintain peace throughout the election process, he instructed the police chief to continue the effective policing. He requested that the police make sure that criminals won't have any opportunity to meddle with the voting process.

He asked all political party activists and supporters to uphold the election code of ethics. He also saw how police officers utilised bodycams to record their work as poll security officers. On election day in Karachi, 800 police officers performed security responsibilities while wearing bodycams. The CM received a briefing from the police head regarding the arrangements for the polling place's security. Sohail Rajput, the chief secretary, was also present.
