Foodpanda orders have become increasingly popular in Pakistan.

The cost of the food provided by Foodpanda plus 30% more must be paid by the food enthusiasts.

Foodpanda orders have become increasingly popular in Pakistan. Many food aficionados took advantage of the special offers and discounts without realising they were paying an additional 30%.

Despite the fact that Foodpanda asserts that it solely charges for deliveries of food. However, food suppliers claim that the delivery service is charging 30% for each item that is ordered. Therefore, when an item is supplied through Foodpanda, its overall price rises by 30%.

The PkRevenue team found that restaurants were forcing customers to pay a 30% supplemental fee in order to maintain their profit margins.

The shops offered Foodpanda's customers expensive food at excessive prices. The additional 30% that the consumer was required to pay was funded by these high rates.

At the Block 18 Samanabad, Gulberg, Karachi Sodka branch, a salesperson advised customers of the additional 30% payment.

The seller claimed that Foodpanda-affiliated eateries charge excessive prices for their goods in order to prevent a reduction in their profit margin.

The salesperson said that Foodpanda charges customers for delivery services and pays restaurants 30% of the food's value in exchange for their services.

However, in order to avoid a decline in profit margin, the restaurants shift the cost to the customers by charging high prices for their meals on Foodpanda.

As a result, customers who order meals through Foodpanda must pay delivery fees in addition to 30% of the total order.

The salesman told the customers that it is preferable to order meals to go from the restaurant because they will pay accurate pricing for it.

Additionally, the salesperson advised the customers to use Bykea's services to place meal orders. He further stated that the Bykea will only charge for meal delivery.
